CONSULTING ENGINEERING
PJCD maintain in its corps of qualified Engineers as
Technical Consultants capable of providing technical expertise needed to analyze and evaluate all kinds of geotechnical engineering
problems as may be required for all types of infrastructure projects.
Engineering Geotechnical and Geohazard Assessment Report (EGGAR) intended to present the possible levels
of that may effect a certain project and the economical solution of reducing to the barest minimum (or possibly eradicate)
the chance of loss or damage to lives and properties
Slope Protection in construction site where cutting may posed danger due to unstable slope. Usually
design based on actual underlying ground condition to protect the public and existing structures, from possible collapses
and landslide
SOIL INVESTIGATION/
INVIRONMENTAL DRILLING
PJCD is capable of undertaking sub-surface exploration works both onshore and offshore. Exploration
as stratigraphic survey usually consists of boring undertaken in sufficient numbers and depth to identify the soil and rock
strata present and correlation in stratification. In site strength testing conducted with the use of special instruments like
Vane Shear, Augers and Penetrometer Test are also conducted. In rocks, specified core barrel is used to obtain core samples
for examination and testing.
MINERAL EXPLORATION
Mineral Exploration techniques usually employ Geologic Mapping, Test Pitting, Trenching, Geological
and Geo-chemical Surveys to determine mineralized zones on metallic and non-metallic mineral deposit. Complementing the above
works, PJCD conducts Diamond Drilling, Reverse Circulation Drilling (RCD) to verify anomalous body at depth, Production Drilling
and Blasting.
GROUND WATER STUDY/WELL DRILLING
Through our extensive experience in ground water development, we have developed our capacity to drill
large diameter deep wells. We have also developed familiarity with different geologic formation prevalent in most part of
the country that is essential in determining the economic feasibility of drilling respective wells. Accurate delineation of
individual acquifer through electric logging before perforated casing are set and proper sealing of undesirable water is done.
CONSTRUCTION REMIDIATION
Ground Improvement / Grouting is applied where the project site is unsuitable for the proposed structure
due to low soil bearing capacity. PJCD personnel’s are capable of improving the existing site condition by injecting
grout materials into the ground which would fill the voids and tends to increase the bearing capacity
Pile foundation are required when the competent layer that can support the proposed structure are too
deep that excavation for foundation is deemed uneconomical. PJCD personnel’s has the capability to construct Bored pile,
mini pile / micro piles and to install driven piles. Necessary for building foundations.
PJCD personnel’s has developed expertise in cutting / sawing / reinforced concrete and rectifying
uneven concrete slab with concrete planner / grinder
